The Dymo LabelManager 210D is convincing overall. Both the large display and the clear and logical menu navigation are convincing. The device is ergonomically formed so that an operation is also very pleasant. Another positive aspect is that several bandwidths can be used.
The Dymo LabelManager 210D can be used on the table or mobile. The QWERTY keyboard makes the operation fast and easy.
The device from Dymo has a QWERTZ keyboard with large rubber buttons. It can be placed on the table and has a safe stand due to the four rubber feet. But also mobile it lies comfortably in the hand.
The printing speed is 10 mm per second. The tapes can be inserted and printed in 6 mm, 9 mm and 12 mm widths. They are available in many different colours. If you buy them directly from Dymo, the originals are in the medium price range.
The print image is convincing. There is a font with different styles like bold, italic, underlined or drop shadow. Even vertical and mirrored can be adjusted.
Umlauts are only entered via a special key. This takes getting used to and is a bit cumbersome.
The display is large and the labels are clearly visible on it.
Accessories for use
Six AA batteries are required for the marker. The menu is available in German and other languages. Thanks to the well-thought-out and logically structured menu navigation, you can find your way around quickly. The instructions are in German and well described.
Frequently used labels can be saved via memory locations. They are also available if the batteries are missing for a long time. Negative is that then the bandwidth has to be reset. However, this can be done quickly via a viewing window on the back of the device.
Dymo offers a two-year warranty if the proof of purchase is presented. This can be extended to three years with online registration. It will change if original tapes are not used.
