All in all the Teufel Move BT make a good impression. They offer an appealing sound, but this can only be achieved by a thorough examination of the various attachments. Once the suitable attachments have been found, the headphones sit very firmly in the ear and are therefore well suited for sports. Above all, the Move BT convince with their 20 hours battery life.

  • Firm fit
  • Battery life
  • Sound
  • 36 different attachment combinations

  • No app
  • No noise cancelling
  • Song forward/rewind not possible on the control panel
  • The different attachments are not explained in the manual - this leads to a worse sound experience

360° View

Bluetooth headphones with 20h battery life which are well suited for sports.

Appearance and equipment

I have tested the Teufel Move BT in the color "white". The In-Ear Headphones with neck cord are well made and make a good impression.

They are included in delivery:

  • In-Ear headphones
  • Hybrid silicone rubber ear pads (XS, S, M, L), ear canal closures (S, M, L) and Ear Hooks (S, M, L)
  • USB-C charging cable
  • Transport bag
  • Operating instructions

Operating the headphones

The headphones are already preloaded so that you can start right away. To connect the headphones to your phone, for example, press the on/off button for 3 seconds to activate pairing mode. The LED on the control panel will now pulse blue. Now you can search for "Teufel MOVE BT" in the Bluetooth settings to connect to the headphones. The LED now lights up blue once every 5 seconds.

Control panel

Now insert the headphones and rotate them so that the Ear Hooks are firmly seated in your earcup, giving the headphones a more secure fit. On the neck cord that connects the two Ear Hooks, there is a control panel on the right side. The control panel has two volume control buttons and one for pause/play and answer/reject calls. The charging jack is also located here.

The headphones do not have an associated app.

Wearing comfort

The headphones sit comfortably in the ear. The various attachments supplied to ensure that the right size is available for each ear. If you insert the headphones into your ear as described, they should also fit firmly. The Ear Hooks included in 3 different sizes offer additional stability. If they are too loose and slip out, try another attachment. The neck cord allows the headphones to lie on the floor, not directly on the floor, should they fall out. The various ear canal closures do not contribute much to a firm fit in the ear, but they do shield the ear canal from outside noise and thus help to ensure a more undisturbed sound experience.

It should be noted that with the 4 different ear pads, the 3 different Ear Hooks and the 3 different ear canal closures, there are 36 different ways to find the right combination. I would, therefore, recommend to ignore the Ear Hooks for the time being and to find the right combination of ear cushions and ear canal closures and then look for a suitable Ear Hook. Which attachments are perfect for you, you have to find out for yourself because the function of the single parts and how they should fit is not explained in detail. The instructions only mention "Choose the earcups that are perfect for you".

On the positive side, however, the storage tube of the attachments can also be used for cleaning. Simply fill it halfway with water, close it, shake it and you are done.

Earbuds im Ohr

The headphones have a good sound: balanced mids and lows with rich bass. The highs also play along well but don't come across as clearly as you'd like them to when listening to high-height songs. The headphones do not have a noise-cancelling function. They offer the aptx codec for Bluetooth connections (provided that the audio transmitter also has aptx). In general, you will experience a rich stereo sound. The so-called 360°-8D sounds can also be played back.

With these headphones, it is particularly noticeable that it is necessary to deal with the various attachments beforehand, as the sound decreases noticeably as soon as the headphones are not properly seated in the ear.

The Bluetooth stability is rather mediocre. At a distance of 8 meters and 3 lightweight walls as a barrier, the first dropouts occur. As soon as you get back into the Bluetooth range, the headphones connect automatically and the music starts playing again.

An incoming call can be accepted by briefly pressing the Pause/Play button, or rejected by pressing it twice. The conversation partner is very easy to understand via the Teufel Move BT. He also understands you clearly, but a bit dull and distant. It helps to pull the control panel a little bit towards the mouth because the microphone is located there. But since the Move BT does not have an Active Noise Cancelling function, ambient noise can quickly become a disturbing factor when making calls.

Transport box

The transport bag does not serve here as a charging station, but only as a storage possibility. In order to charge the headphones, they must be connected to a USB charging station with the supplied USB-C charging cable or to a power outlet with an adapter.

The bag consists of hard plastic covered with fabric and closes with a zipper. It contains a removable device made of a silicone-rubber mixture in which the headphones can be placed. The cable is wrapped around it so that it cannot become knotted. The charging cable can also be stored in the bag.
