If you are looking for a noble and elegant fan, the AEG Tower Fan is a good choice. If, on the other hand, you are interested in sophisticated functions, you should choose a different model. With the AEG column fan, biased settings are difficult to read. In addition, the wind force only moves in the lower middle field; the same applies to the volume.
The AEG column fan scores first and foremost with its attractive appearance. The included remote control also provides comfort. In addition to the actual unit and the remote control, AEG also provides you with detailed instructions including safety and warranty provisions.
The AEG T-VL 5537 stainless steel column fan differs clearly from its competitors' products in terms of appearance. While most other models are made of plastic, you will find attractive stainless steel elements on this unit. These give the column fan a very high quality and elegant appearance at the same time. This fan, which has a safe and solid stand, fits particularly well into the modernly furnished apartment. Before the first start-up you only have to mount a plate in the lower area as a stand; for ambitious do-it-yourselfers a piece of cake.
As much as the optics from the AEG Tower Fan can convince: Unfortunately, the inner values disappoint in the practical test. The wind strength, as well as volume and ease of use, leave a lot to be desired. You can make various settings on the device itself as well as on the included remote control. However, the LED lights do not clearly show which setting was made. With the timer, you have the choice between two, four and eight hours. Positive: At the back of the device there is a holder for the remote control so that you can store it space-saving.
The normal mode offers you three wind speeds at once. In addition, you can choose the so-called natural mode, which imitates a natural wind. Accordingly, the intensity of this mode varies every second. In connection with the rather loud operating noise, there is no relaxation. The device has a 75-degree oscillation so that the air is distributed quite evenly in the room.
