In summary, it can be said that the ProKira - Balcony Parasol Stand is very stable and due to its high weight barely shakes or tilts. However, the processing is very rough. It is practical that a metal plate in the stainless steel tube holds the parasol in place so that the rod of the parasol does not suffer any scratches. With its diameter, the stand is especially suitable for thinner parasols and ideal for the balcony.

  • Very robust heavy material
  • Space-saving

  • Delivered dirty
  • No handles
  • Poor processing of the feet

360° View

The parasol scores with its material, but is partly badly made and has no handles that would make it easier to move around.

Overview and structure

The ProKira - Balcony Parasol Stand is delivered dirty and dusty in a cardboard box. In the box is a wooden frame, which fixes the stand.

The tube is fixed with a screw

You should have a wrench at hand to tighten the screw

The stand can be quickly screwed together and is then ready for use. It can also be used on the balcony or any other area. The granite stone does not have handles or castors that would make it easier to move.

The feet are only glued on uncleanly and there are sticky streaks to be seen.

The stand is weighted down by the granite stone weighing approx. 25 kg. No further weighting material is needed.

With 2 screws, which one tightens, the parasol handle is fastened in the stainless steel tube. At the top of the tube, there is a plastic part, which should protect the parasol handle from scratches, but it loosens quickly and is loose. The screws press a metal plate against the handle of the parasol so that it does not get scratched. The thickness of the parasol can be between 20 and 35 mm. If the parasol is too thin, the screws will not grip it and if it is too thick, it will not fit in the tube.

If you push and pull on the parasol, it can hardly be moved and quickly tilts back again. You have to make sure that the parasol is really held in the stainless steel tube.

The sunshade stand is made of stone and stainless steel. However, you should not leave the stand outside the whole year, because the material could be damaged in the long run.
