The Baser - Parasol Stand For Balcony is practical to use and space-saving for small areas, as it can be easily pushed into a corner. The stability is excellent as soon as the sandbag weights the stand. A small disadvantage is that in addition to the sunshade stand you have to buy additional material for weighting as it is not included in the set.
Overview and structure
The Baser - Parasol Stand For Balcony is delivered in a cardboard box. The stand can be quickly assembled. The product is designed so that it fits into a corner to save space.
The stand is weighted with a sack that can be filled with sand or stones, for example. A plastic bag is included, in which the sand can be filled. The materials you need to weigh down the stand must be bought by yourself as they are not included in the set.
The parasol shank is attached to the stand with a latch. The further you push the catch down, the closer the rods of the stand are pressed together. The thinner the shank, the further down you have to push the catch. Without the parasol, the rods of the stand tend to wedge slightly so that it is difficult to push the catch upwards again and hook it to the grooves.
When the parasol is inserted, nothing gets stuck and the latch sits securely and can be moved easily.
Without the sand the parasol tips quickly and you have to be careful. As soon as you put the sandbag with about 20 kg on top of it, the parasol is difficult to tip over and will quickly settle down again, no matter from which side you move the parasol.
The sunshade stand is made of robust plastic and has no rust-prone components. However, you should not leave the stand outside the whole year, because the material could be damaged in the long run.
