The Berger - Folding Chair Tarim belongs to the more comfortable camping chairs. The pillow, which can be attached and positioned to the backrest, is particularly striking. A drink can be placed in a net on the right armrest. However, the arms are only partially comfortable to put down, as a belt is in the way from the back and the height is difficult to adjust. The stability is good and the chair does not wobble or tilt.
The is supplied in a polyester carrying bag. It can be carried easily over the shoulder with a strap and is closed with a drawstring. The chair is folded together in the bag and only needs to be pulled apart for use without having to put poles together.
The chair has a grey look and is striped by the ribbed fabric structure. The sofa is set off the light green at the edges of the armrests and light green at the backrest.
The chair is comfortable and you sit well in it. Due to the thick fabric and the upholstery, the material, which consists of 100 % polyester, feels luxurious. However, due to the fabric tension, you are sitting in a small hollow so that you tend to sit only crooked. But you can increase the tension with a strap at the back and you sit a bit more straight.
Since the chair is quite low, the feet can also reach on the floor for smaller people without any problems. A common problem are the sleepy legs that you get on camping chairs, which tie the legs off by a tight seam on the seat during long sitting. The chair has extra padding in this area so that the fabric does not cut into the thigh.
When you lean back, the head can also find room on the backrest and does not simply fold back. In addition, you can attach a cushion to a Velcro fastener on the back of the chair, which can also be used to determine the height of the cushion, or simply fold it back. The chair has armrests on which you can place your arms, but right in front of the armrest is the strap, which makes your back straighter and makes you feel something in the way. You should also be able to adjust the armrests individually, but the fabric of the armrests is too long, so these adjustments make no difference. On the right, there is a cup holder.
Processing and stability
The bench is well made and places, where bars press in stronger, are double stitched, or even with plastic caps so that the bars do not penetrate directly through. Also, the upholstery of the seat fabric is well made and offers robust use. However, it is not uncommon to find a thread that is too long and has not been cut correctly. All in all, the entire product is made of 100% polyester and is therefore hard-wearing.
