The Bielmeier - 480122 Semi-automatic Preserving Cooker convinces with its thermostat, the cable rewind on the bottom as well as the included cooking grid. Another positive feature is the removable tap. The missing timer is a faulty point.
The Bielmeier - 480122 Semi-automatic Preserving Cooker is double packed, first a simple box without ink, on which only the brand logo and the brand name are printed and inside in an unprinted white box, which was designed functionally. The ivory-coloured kettle is slightly speckled with black dots. There are also two heat-insulated handles, a lid and a tap (on the side) outside the kettle. Inside the kettle, there is a cooking grid. The material is enamel and the capacity is 27 litres. The fuselage is equipped with an internal heating coil, a temperature regulator and a control light, which are both located on the outside. The temperature scale ranges from 30-100°C and also offers a juicer stage. Below the machine, there are rubber feet and there is the cable rewind with a 110 cm long mains cable. The manufacturer offers a guarantee of 2 years from the date of purchase.
The scope of delivery includes:

Before you can use the Bielmeier - 480122 Semi-automatic Preserving Cooker, you must first clean it. This works as follows: Wipe the lid and kettle with a damp cloth and then fill the boiling machine with 5 litres of water. The next step is to plug the appliance into a wall socket and the automatic cooker is switched on. Switch the thermostat to "Cooking" and wait until the indicator light turns off. This is a sign that the desired temperature has been reached. When the "cooking" stage is reached, the control light switches off and you can disconnect the appliance from the socket. Then let the water run out through the tap and cool down the machine. Afterwards, you can start with preserving.
You place the jars on the grid in the kettle and fill the tank with water until about 2/3 or 3/4 of the top jar layer is covered. Due to the fact that the appliance does not have an ON/OFF switch, it is switched on when connected to an electrical outlet. Commissioning is also supported by the indicator light. The next step is to set the desired temperature on the thermostat. In our test, the data was 100°C at 90 minutes. The time must be stopped separately at a stopwatch or via your mobile phone. Unfortunately, this device does not have an integrated timer. But also here the control light with the self switching off indicates the reaching of the desired temperature. After approximately 38 minutes, the automatic preserving machine has reached the water temperature of 100°C and then begins to preserve the jars. During the boiling process, the case heats up to 92°C and we also measure a temperature of 80°C at the lid. Therefore, caution is advised. You should also refrain from opening the lid during the process. In the worst case, the steam that develops will cause burns.
In order to maintain the temperature, the device heats up again and again during conservation, which is why the device is well suited for long-term use. After 90 minutes the boiling process is finished and you can switch off the appliance. Finally, you must let the developed steam escape by removing the lid. The tap allows you to drain the water and then, with the help of a stove glove, remove the boiled jars.
Finally, you do the test to see if boiling down really worked. To do this, you have to loosen the clamps that press the lid and the jar together and lift the jar only by the lid. If the jar remains closed, the process is successful, if it opens, then not. In the Bielmeier automatic preserving cooker, the preserving process worked successfully.
