Features & Benefits

You can easily attach the supplied handle to three sides of the device. This allows you to operate the device very intuitively and in different directions, both left-handed and right-handed.

To replace the discs, first press the black locking knob on the back of the device and turn the disc until you feel it click into place. The disc can no longer be turned. Now you have to loosen the nut with the tension wrench. Simply change the washers and tighten them again.

To adjust the protective hood, you will need a slotted screwdriver. You can't adjust it without tools.

You can view the battery status by pressing the battery button. 4 lights show you the status.

Due to its small size, the device fits well in the hand. It is also very pleasant, that you can place the angle grinder upright. This turned out to be very positive in the test.

In this test, I used the same cut-off wheel for each of the angle grinders tested (Bosch DIY cut-off wheel metal 115 x 2.5 mm). So a better comparison of the performance of the machines can take place. In order to put the machines to their maximum test, I cut through various bicycle locks made of hardened steel.

The Makita DGA452Z Angle Grinder was able to cut both the folding lock and the shackle lock. Even with decreasing battery power, the performance did not decrease. In this range, the Makita angle grinder is fully convincing.
